Network of parks that make up the APTE ecosystem throughout Spain.
The Tecnoparc Technology and Innovation Park managed by the municipal company Reus Desenvolupament Econòmic S.A. (REDESSA) has a surface area of 165 hectares. It is focused on the ICT, health, nutrition/agri-food and tourism sectors.
The park employs 1,300 people and hosts more than 50 entities, including technology companies, start-ups and spin-offs.
REDESSA Tecno: business center specially designed for technology-based companies. It shares space with the fair and convention center of firaReus Events.
REDESSA Cepid: Specially designed for laboratories, engineering companies, spin-offs and companies linked to innovation.
REDESSA Innovació: Headquarters in Reus of the German multinational T-Systems.
The park is also home to the Rovira i Virgili University campus, the Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital, the Eurecat technology center, the Omic Sciences center and the Pere Virgili Health Research Institute.
